Radiologic Technology Licensure Program

The Arkansas Department of Health, through the Radiologic Technology Licensure Program, provides Arkansans maximum protection practicable from the harmful effects of excessive and improper exposure to ionizing radiation. The program requires appropriate education of persons using radioactive materials or operating medical equipment emitting or detecting ionizing radiation upon human beings. This ADH program regulates persons administering ionizing radiation to human beings to help keep the radiation dose to patients as low as reasonably achievable.

Severe Weather: Donate to the Arkansas Disaster Relief Program

The Arkansas Disaster Relief Program is available to assist those impacted by disasters across the state of Arkansas. Under the Arkansas Disaster Relief Program, the Arkansas Division of Emergency Management (ADEM) is able to provide funds for immediate needs for disaster relief to communities experiencing major impacts from a DECLARED disaster. These funds are to be utilized as additional state and federal program availability are being determined.
