WIC offers the latest nutrition information to help families make healthy choices. Foods offered by WIC help WIC families lower their chances of health problems from poor nutrition. Nutrition Information for WIC Participants
Pregnant Women may have questions about foods, healthy eating, prenatal vitamins, weight gain, exercise, etc. The USDA's Choose My Plate tool has guidelines to help answer these questions.
Healthy Nutrition during pregnancy
Arkansas WIC foods offered:

- Eggs
- Milk or soy beverage
- Cheese
- Yogurt
- Fruit or vegetable juice
- Beans
- Peanut butter
- Fresh and/or frozen fruits and vegetables
Breastfeeding and Postpartum Women: New moms may have questions about foods, vitamin/mineral supplements, weight loss, exercise, etc. The USDA's Choose My Plate tool has guidelines to help answer these questions.
Healthy Nutrition After Having a Baby
Arkansas WIC foods offered:

WIC gives families the chance to learn about lots of topics. On visits to WIC you can get personal counseling or a group class. You can even do a class online. When you are on WIC, you can count on us to be there with support and answers from the beginning of pregnancy all the way up to your child’s fifth birthday.
